The Washington Estate (AKA Creepy Lodge)
Built in the 1990's by movie mogul, Bob Washington, the Washington Estate is a wood-and-stone mansion comprised of three floors which surround a central set of staircases and balconies. It's got fireplaces and rooms all over the place, and a large group of people can live here comfortably. Well, comfortable if they don't know the creepy history that goes with it. They'd be less comfortable then.

An accidental request from Mana by Chris, the mansion appeared on the Peninsula in May 2015. Located to the west of Lake Dala, between the Lager Woods and the Clinic. There is a secret tunnel that goes from the murder tunnels extended basement of the house into Lager Woods, about 600 yards from the cabin itself. The entrance is hidden with ferns and rocks. You'd have to be looking for it to find it.

    This is largely the guest area of the mansion. Here can be found many hallways, leading to various guest rooms and bathrooms. The first floor also houses the cinema room, decorated with posters from Bob Washington's movies. ( back )

    The second floor is the main living area of the mansion. It holds a great room, a smaller sitting room, a very large kitchen, a dining room and a library. The library has a secret room hidden behind a bookcase, activated by a hidden button. ( back )

    The third floor is reserved for sleeping quarters and houses the main bathroom of the house, featuring a rather extravagant jacuzzi bath. The balconies of this floor surround the inside perimeter of the mansion. The bedrooms of the Washington family can be found here, left largely untouched out of respect. Not kidding about the creepy history thing.( back )

    It wouldn't be a creepy horror house without a creepy basement. Though it has a regular boring basement too, it links to long tunnel that made up an old hotel it was built over. There are a few rooms here branching off that seem closed off (DON'T go in them) and the tunnel ends in a secret entrance just within Lager Woods. Which is better than an abandoned sanatorium full of wendigos by a lot. ( back )
